Frequently Asked Questions

1) When Is The Best Time to Schedule My Maternity Session & Will You Help Me Find a Location?

* I like to schedule your maternity session about 28-30 weeks. It is a little earlier than others but I really would like get together before you're too uncomfortable. Early labor is also possible along with  horrible Alabama weather which could possibly make us reschedule to a later date. I want you to have your perfect session and will help find whatever location you have in mind, weather it's one I've already been too or not!

2) Do You Offer Maternity Gowns?

I do! I have a number of maternity gowns that are available for use free of charge during your maternity session. You can also schedule a date before your session and come try on the dresses to see which one you love most! Sizes range from small- 3XL

3) Do You Provide Props For Maternity Sessions?

I do not provide props for maternity session but I do suggest to bring a sonogram, onesie or anything you'd like to be in a photo for memories. Four legged friends are welcome in your session!

3.)What do I need for my session?

I have tons of wraps, props and options at the studio for you to use. You are welcome to bring anything you'd like photographed, from special blankets or outfits etc. But ideally I have everything you would need for your session.

Any theme or colors you'd like before hand feel free to mention at booking!

4.)What do we wear?

I like to suggest neutral colors for your family photos. I have many solid and neutral backdrops available.(Browns, Tans, Blues, Greys etc) I always suggest that you please put your newborn in an outfit that opens on the front to avoid disturbing your little one as least as possible when changing.

1.) I don't know what day my baby will be here, When do I book my session?

You can book your session at any time, I do offer payment plans before your session, so you can make payments on your invoice before hand. Once you get home from the hospital we will schedule a date that works for both of us, I usually like to get you in the studio before your little one turns 3 weeks old. Weekends are not always available so weekdays may be best.

2.) How long do sessions last?

A newborn session can last up to 2-3 hours. I do suggest that you bring whatever you may need during that time (formula, diapers etc). I do offer water and snacks during your stay. Siblings can stay the entire time or i've also had grandparents take siblings back home after their photos (family photos are first during the session)
